LitBuy QC photos: what to check
Use an inspection checklist to review quantity, colour, measurements and visible condition without overstating what QC photos prove.

Match the photos to your order
Start with the order reference and variant. A set of photos is only useful if it belongs to the item you selected. Check that the colour, quantity and size label match. If you are viewing community photos, confirm which listing and order they came from rather than treating them as photos of your own purchase.
Use a repeatable inspection
- Whole item: check front, back and overall shape.
- Pair or set: compare both pieces and count components.
- Details: inspect seams, fasteners, surface marks and visible damage.
- Measurements: compare a readable ruler or tape with the relevant size table.
- Packaging: identify missing accessories or visible damage where relevant.
Ask a specific follow-up question
If a detail is obscured, request a close-up of the exact area. If fit matters, ask for a measurement and explain how it should be taken. Confirm whether additional photos or checks are available and what they cost before requesting them.
Know the limits of a photograph
Lighting changes colour, camera angle changes proportions and a size label is not a measurement. An inspection image cannot reliably establish authenticity, safety, performance or long-term durability. Do not turn “no visible defect in these images” into “guaranteed quality.”
Keep a decision record
Save the relevant photos and record your questions before forwarding the item. If there is an issue, use the platform’s current support and after-sales process. Review the ordering checklist before your next purchase.
